Call for Papers

Contributions related to the following topics are particularly welcome:

Energy Networks: Approaches to coping with fluctuating energy sources, integration of decentralized power generation and storage, ICT for grid control and planning, control and safety systems, sensor networks, and systems for integrated energy management, stability and robustness of decentralized autonomous grid control.

Mobility: Charge management for electric vehicles, energy-aware services for driver assistance, ICT-based mobility concepts, inter-modal mobility, energy-aware traffic control, smart grid integration of mobile storage.

Buildings: Optimisation of the interplay between building systems, heating devices and energy networks, e.g. by integrating smart metering; use cases for digital metering in households.

Cross-cutting: Security and privacy protection, interoperability, energy data analytics, energy efficiency and flexibility of industrial processes, demand response in scenarios of Industrie 4.0, information systems for behaviour control, simulation and modelling, market mechanisms and business cases, ICT-based energy system services.

Submission formats are “Full Research Paper” (max. 12 pages), “Research in Progress Paper” (max. 8 pages) and “Technical Reports” (max. 12 pages). In spite of the focus on the D-A-CH region, the conference language will be English, therefore, papers should be written in English. Research papers will get double-blind reviews, technical reports should address primarily practitioners and will be selected by the program committee. Accepted papers will be published in the LNCS series of Springer.

Be aware that a double-blind reviewing process can only be ensured if no mentioning of the authors’ names or other personal data indicate the authors’ identities in the submitted paper. Particularly remove names and affiliation from the title and avoid phrases such as “cf. our earlier work [1]”. You can re-insert such information into the final version of your paper.

Please use the publishers LNCS-template (Word-Version or Latex-Version). Please also mind the Author Guidelines for the Preparation of Contributions to Springer Computer Science Proceedings. You will find additional Information for Authors of Computer Science Publications here.
